the lost pearl

In the deapth of the ocean,
The ocean of life
I had once found a pearl,a beautiful pearl
Which i had thought,
Was meant to be for me.
So charming,so marvellous
how I wished to make it mine.
So I moved faster and faster,
And deeper and deeper
But the pearl kept drifting away from me
Away from my sight and my life.
I was left alone,
Facing the darkness and the chill
And the worst,the pain of loss.
It was just a dream.
A dream,more real than reality.
I wish it was just a dream
Or i like to call it a beautiful dream.
for it may ease my pain
After all it was just a dream.
